Global Divestiture Survey and Infographic

A survey was done highlight global divestiture trends for 2020 and the client requested a companion infographic be created alongside the survey leveraging the same theme. The client requested a strategy theme for the initial artwork request. After reviewing themes including growth from nature, chess strategy and sports strategy, the client ultimately determined a chess board theme would work best with their vision. Artwork was selected from shutterstock of images and vector stock for the infographic.

Refinement

After determining chess strategy imagery as the concept, images were selected that helped refine the tone and concept further. Plexus artwork with some mathematics in the background helped convey the complex nature of divestiture along with the digital nature of our current world. Subtle line charts can be seen in the foreground of some images, emphasizing the broadness of divestiture.

Finalization

With the theme of chess strategy finalized and stock selected, the booklet and infographic were created in partnership with another designer. I lead the visual identity for both and refined the look of the final infographic to make sure both pieces had a cohesive feel.
